Extends Sage MAS 500 ERP
Direct 500 extends the functionality of Sage MAS 500 ERP with important features for organizations with multiple selling channels (sales reps, call center, catalogs, eCommerce sites). These additional capabilities provide robust order management and processing, especially in business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) models.
eCommerce
B2B and B2C eCommerce has never been better. Direct 500's eStore is an extension of MAS 500 and Direct 500 call center capabilities. The same business rules for pricing, sales tax, freight, credit card processing and others are shared between MAS 500 and the eStore.
Up-Sell and Cross-Sell
Extensive support for up-sell and cross-sell opportunities to encourage the sale of higher end products and complementary items of similar interest.
Coupons and Promotions
Direct 500 provides the ability to offer free shipping and handling, discounts and/or free merchandise based on a minimum order amount. The customer declares that they have a coupon while promotions are automatically granted.
Deals
A price offer such as "buy 1, get 1 for 50% off", "buy 2, get 1 free", "buy 1, get a different item free". Extensive user defined options to support "deal" offers. A deal can have an expiration date and can be optionally displayed during sales order entry to alert the order taker of the deal.
